Descrip:
This course is an introductory level course in report writing providing instruction in effectively communicating a sound analysis of selected parts of a valuation. The course focuses on the three types of writing most often used in appraisal reports and required by USPAP: descriptive, numerical, and analytical. Students will be provided with the information to effectively complete writing assignments which include: writing a thesis statement, summarizing data, creating effective tables, writing a conclusion, communicating highest and best use, communicating an analysis, and writing a reconciliation and opinion of value.

101, 102, 103, 407, Appraiser License
Special Instructions:
You must be registered for this class AT LEAST 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE--NO EXCEPTIONS. Because of the Tax Commission's contract with AI, all students will be charged the class fee regardless of licensing status. Students are require to bring a laptop to class.
