If you are considering an appraisal license, you should start your career with this class. This four-day introductory course will introduce you to real property concepts and characteristics, legal considerations, value influences, real estate finance, and types of value, emphasizing the cost and sales comparison approach to value. This course will provide a solid foundation in basic appraisal principles. This is the Appraisal Institute version and intended for those students that are seeking a trainee appraisal license and/or Ad Valorem Real Property Designation. Students are required to take the HP12C Calculator class before taking this course.
